Incompiuto: the birth of a style
TALK
Friday, 19 October h.18.30

Incompiuto is a research and mapping project that investigates the uncompleted public architectures in Italy.  It offers a new point of view and possible a new paradigm on the disastrous phenomenon that contaminated Italian contemporary landscape. The research group, led by ALTERAZIONI VIDEO, worked in direct contact with these realities and counted over 750 contemporary ruins, 350 only in Sicily. The book resulted from a 10 years work and represents a smart and provocative point of view over the phenomenon: Its extension and duration transformed it in a proper style, the only real style one could observe in Italy in the post war era.  CAMPO is pleased to invite Fosbury Architecture to talk about their work with Incompiuto and to share some of the material they exhibited this year in Manifesta 12. The collective of architectural research will share with us their involvement in this incredible experience and open a discussion with the participants to the talk.
